Marquez's Old Man with Enormous Wings: Mapped With Yarn
This student did a masterful job tracing the changing identities of the "Old Man," from sailor to angel to chicken to disappearing point on the imagination's horizon. Her information visualization uses yarn to sew links through the traditional page interface.

Humberto Constantini's The Long Night of Francisco Sanctis
as Postmodern Text Object
In this project, students are asked to explore the themes and techniques of postmodern literature through a three-dimensional text object expressing Constantini's novel. The goal is for students to access their own creativity in their research and study of postmodernism, as well as to use these text objects to build critical theoretical arguments about the possibilities of the text.
